The ones I had were old and faded. So I made two new ones. My grandmother left me a box of cloth scraps she collected and I made use of those scraps for this project. Save for the red stripe fabric which is from my purchase, all the rest are from her stash, they should be at least 20-30 years old!
The colours play out really nice and the fabric tape of black cursive writing adds a sophisticated look to the final look. I would have added a border to the cushion, but I got lazy.. :P

This is the first of a series of fabric tape with continuous pattern. This tape works more like a ribbon than labels. You can use it to tie a parcel, line the side of wooden boxes or as the drawstring for a bag. The possibilities are endless.
Fabric tape/label add a touch of quaintness to your final handiwork, making it attractive and interesting. I'm sure these little labels will be a source of talking point on your precious work, enhancing their beauty.
